RDS implemented community awareness and sensitization programs in rural and tribal areas, including Bankura district of West Bengal, Deoghar district of Jharkhand, and Mayurbhanj district of Orissa. Many in these communities, such as tribal, dalit, indigenous, and minority groups, face deprivation of basic development amenities, high illiteracy, and social challenges due to superstitions and exploitation.
Superstitious beliefs, like witchcraft, continue to affect lives severely. Our policy prioritizes generating awareness in these communities before pursuing any development initiatives.
